How to Test Valid Shielding Distance of Cell Phone Jammer
1.3.1 The most effective and feasible method: multiple cell phone site testing
Use many cell phones of various frequency channels to test shielding effect of the cell phone jammer at site, which is the most rapid, convenient and feasible testing method. Compared with limitation of testing software by the cell phone and conversion after being tested by professional instruments, it is the easiest way to master. It is as follows:
Prepare lots of cell phones with various frequencies, including China Mobile, China Unicom, PAS, 3G (it is better that there is 3G of three different systems: China Mobile TD-SCDMA, China Unicom CDMA 2000, China Telecom WCDMA), turn on the cell phone jammer, hand hold every cell phone and test the effective shielding radius from the near to the distant starting from the jammer installation position. It is recommended that customer should test the shielding distance in multiple directions away from the cell phone jammer at the same time.
When checking whether the cell phone has been shielded, pay attention: checking signal strength of the cell phone is not enough for signal strength of the cell phone is fake sometimes. Use the cell phone at times and try to call the local free phone or fixed-line telephone. If not connected, it can be seen in the shielding range; otherwise, it is out of the shielding range.
When testing whether a point is in the shielding range, hand-hold the cell phone and keep it in the position for more than half a minute to make sure the cell phone is shielded.
If getting through a call in the non-shielding area and walking into the shielding area, normally the cell phone will be shielded completely after covering a certain distance in the shielding area, for the cell phone itself has the anti-interference ability once it gets through a call. The anti-interference will make cell phone automatically adjust emission power to make sure the normal call of this time. Therefore, it is not suggested normally doing the dynamic testing and completing the static testing in every point in the calling status.
After finishing testing at every frequency channel, select the shortest radius at a certain frequency channel as the valid shielding radius of the jammer in the area. According to this, the position can be predicted when doing the honeycomb position arranging in the large area.
