1.1 Basic Notice of Installing Cell Phone Jammer
The installation height of the cell phone jammer above the floor is better to be no less than 18m.
If the installation place is less than 200m away from the cell phone base station, shielding effect is in inverse proportion to the distance away from the base station. It means that the closer the base station locates, the smaller the shielding radius is.
Fasten the antenna before switching on the power supply. The number marked on the antenna should be in the one-to-one correspondence with the number on the antenna hole in the main machinery. No wrong inserting and no direct switching on the power supply of the main machinery without connecting the antenna.
1.2 Standard Method of Installing Cell Phone Jammer Components
Power supply adapter should be more than 20cm away from the main machinery;
No heavy current line within 20cm around the antenna (AC220V)
Cell phone jammer components mainly include: main machinery, antenna, power supply adapter. When installing the jammer, for there exists a strong signal magnetic field in a certain distance ( normally 20-30cm) around the main machinery and antenna and magnetic field interference around (normally 5-10cm) 220V power supply wire (heavy current), it is very important how to arrange the installation places of components. If the installation place is wrong, interfering with the emission of shielding signal and influencing shielding effect will be caused. The standard installation distance between components of the jammer should be:
1.2.1 Compromised Installation Method of cell phone jammer
If power supply adapter cannot horizontally travel more than 20cm because of the limited field installation environment when installing the jammer, the compromised method is placing power supply adapter under the jammer main machinery. If taking this method, power supply adapter will be interfered by the strong magnetic field of main machinery. But, the interference will be less than that when power supply adapter is close to two sides of main machinery. It is as follows:
1.2.2 No Heavy Current around Antenna (220V/380V)
If the jammer adopts the wall hanging installation, ensure that there shouldn’t be heavy current wire around antenna of the jammer (including two sides of the antenna, above the antenna, heavy current hidden wire pre-buried in the wall where the antenna locates and so on). Hereby, the heavy current wire laid on the wall means the open wire and hidden wire which are the 220V or 380V AC circuit. The heavy current circuit also includes 220V power supply wire supplying power to the jammer itself. If installation place of the jammer has to pass the pre-laid heavy current line, please modify the wire to U type to avoid jammer main machinery and antenna. It is generally recommended the heavy current line should be laid a certain distance under the jammer main machinery.
1.2.3 Power Supply Adapter away from Main Machinery
Power supply adapter is 220V AC to 5V DC (as per mode number of the jammer, different machine type, and different output DC voltage) then supplies the power to the jammer main machinery. Power supply adapter has to be placed in the position more than 20cm away from the main machinery. Otherwise, the strong magnetic field from the main machinery and antenna will reduce the output voltage of adapter and influence the normal work of jammer main machinery so that bad shielding effect will be caused.
